In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Nuzum practices in his home state of Idaho, where he owns and operates Clinics #146 and #147 of the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada (OCPCC).

One of Dr. Nuzum’s top priorities as AAOMP President is to achieve formal recognition of Osteopathic Manual Practice (known internationally as manual osteopathy) as a distinct and independent profession—separate from American-style osteopathic medicine (DO).

We are confident that under Dr. Nuzum’s visionary leadership, the profession of osteopathic manual practice will grow stronger and more widely recognized throughout the United States.
